[Review] Dragon Ball:Emperor Pilaf Saga: Episode 1
In this episode, Goku meets Bulma, the first girl he sees in his life and also the third human being in his life.
The story begins with a brief introduction of Goku, his past and his abilities. Then, it moves on to Goku fishing using his tail and catching a fish. On the way home, he was hit by Bulma's car. Goku never seen a car before and thinks it to be a monster. He destroys the car when Bulma shoots him with her pistol. Bulma was completely surprised to see that he was not dead while Goku thought her to be a monster. Then Bulma convinces him that she is a human being.
Surprised to see Bulma, Goku says that she is the ony human being he saw after his grandfather. He checks Bulma while Bulma slaps him and says that he must not do such to girls. Goku said that his grandfather spoke to him about girls and asked not to mess with one. Then Goku asks why Bulma don't have a tail. Bulma was shocked to see that Goku had a tail. Goku said that he was born with one which made her feel strange again. Then she remembers about Dragon Balls and thinks that Goku has it.
She finds the Dragon Ball at Goku's place and explains him about Dragon Balls. Goku regarded the Dragon Ball as his grandfather as it was given as a gift to him and did't gave it to Bulma. Bulma asks Goku to become partner with her and help her to find the dragon balls. On accepting it, little Goku did't knew that his life have changed forever.
This episode of Dragon Ball gave a brief introduction to Goku as well as what it meant by a Dragon Ball.
